Global Notes…

Nov 16, 2016 Our India team returns today. This has been one of the more challenging trips this year for a Connection Pointe team because of the demonetization of 85% of India’s cash by its government. Buddy Faulkner texted me from India on Saturday and said, “This will not deter us.” While the team’s ability to travel was affected, the ministry continued. Their last two days were spent serving and encouraging in the slums of Delhi alongside ASSI. Your prayers have been heard and much...

– Harvey and Yasmin Cline Does it come in a dream? Does it come in an audible voice? Does it come through a song, a sermon or circumstance? Does it only come to the spiritually mature, the most holy or those that are considered “worthy” to be used? Who has a Bible?

-Teresa Byington My house has a Bible in about every room and I suspect you have at least one Bible also. We are blessed. (If you don’t have a Bible and go to Connection Pointe, please stop by the Information Center in the Lobby—we have one just for you.) Scripture tells us that … All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Timothy 3:16 NLT THE...

The Story of “N” -Connie Crum A significant part of our time in Patna was hearing stories from several women church leaders. “N” became a believer and began growing in her faith through a dream she had about her sister-in-law becoming pregnant. Her sister-in-law did give birth after years of not conceiving. “N” is now a key leader including leading worship. Her sweet, Spirit-filled disposition and tears telling the story gives hope in a God who is so...
